Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a hands-on helper to support skilled craft workers on a construction site in Gilbert, AZ. You will follow supervisor directions and work across crafts as needed, gaining experience and contributing to safe, efficient project progress.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to safety practices while assisting in daily tasks and supporting high-quality workmanship on industrial and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience (level I), two years (level II) and three plus years in the industrial/conmercial construction industry preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
• Follow directions from foreman and higher skilled workers.
• Learn safety hazards and use related PPE correctly.
• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks and be willing to learn from others.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
