Job Description

The primary focus of the Laborer is to assist all self-perform construction disciplines in completing scheduled work. General duties will include general housekeeping of the site and work areas, stocking of materials and deliveries, selective demolition, scaffold erection, equipment maintenance, and overall self-perform trade support. This position is expected to work within a 90-mile radius of Pittsburgh and will be based at our Pittsburgh, PA office.

What you'll do:

• Maintain site cleanliness and support construction activities.
• Assist in material and equipment stocking, installations, and cleanup.
• Load and unload building materials safely.
• Verify delivery quantities and stock deliveries appropriately.
• Support self-perform trades with knowledge of construction sequencing and activities.
• Perform selective demolition work safely and effectively.
• Install, maintain, and dismantle site logistics, including fencing, offices, storage areas, and signage.
• Erect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding systems.
• Meet production targets as per project schedule.
• Respond promptly to work requests.
• Conduct safety checks and equipment maintenance.
• Inspect tools and ensure proper operation.
• Contribute to jobsite logistics, organization, and layout planning.
• Perform site cleanup and maintain tool and equipment order.
• Understand foundations, structures, and construction sequencing.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols, completing mandatory safety training.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
