Aerotek is seeking a Construction Laborer for a contract position based in Norwich, CT, with project work at a secure shipyard facility in Groton, CT. The role focuses on demolition, site prep, material handling, and general labor to support masonry/restoration tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of construction or related experience, can read a tape measure, and are comfortable with physically demanding work. OSHA-10 cert and US Passport/ID are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction, landscaping, demolition, or general labor.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Experience using common construction hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Valid U.S. Passport or Birth Certificate for facility access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition, site preparation, and general construction activities.

• Load, move, and distribute construction materials throughout the project site.
• Work closely with crew members to complete tasks efficiently and maintain project schedules.

What You'll Do

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
