Hamm's Custom Masonry is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to join our team for current work in Flint, Michigan and travel to future projects. This full-time role offers $18–$25 per hour based on experience and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include assisting masons, handling materials, mixing mortar, and operating tools on commercial and residential projects; travel is required after current work concludes.

Qualifications

• 6 months of construction experience minimum.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 80 pounds.
• Willing to travel with crew to future projects.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist masons with commercial and residential masonry projects.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
• Mix mortar, prepare work areas, and maintain a clean job site.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Set up and tear down scaffolding and other job site equipment.
• Perform general construction labor as directed by the foreman.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Travel with the crew to future job sites as projects are completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of construction experience required.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working at heights, including scaffolding and elevated work platforms.
• Willing to travel with the company following completion of the Flint, Michigan project.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
