Job summary

The Construction Laborer position in Kihei, HI is a seasonal four-month assignment. It involves loading, unloading, and moving building materials, equipment, and tools on outdoor construction sites with exposure to the elements.

Pay ranges from $65.11 to $73.20 per hour under prevailing wage rules (Davis-Bacon). Responsibilities include material handling, site clean-up, operating hand and power tools, and assisting with fence panel installation and concrete pours.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations as per project plans/specifications.
• Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones. Direct vehicle traffic.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas
• Operate vehicles, tools, and equipment as needed, including those with trailers
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including disposing of waste materials and digging trenches
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and other tools as directed by management
• Reports safety incidents immediately to Foreman, Safety Director, and/or HR manager

Job Summary:

The Construction Laborer is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving building materials, machinery, and/or tools as necessary to appropriate locations. works in a construction setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This position will ensure timely completion of fence panel installation and assist with concrete pour. The Construction Labor is fast paced, result-oriented, and task oriented with a proactive work ethic and naturally meticulous organizational skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
