Job summary

Pro Max Fence in State College, PA is seeking a hands-on laborer to support crew on fence installation projects. You will dig postholes, handle materials, and operate basic power equipment as required.

You must be able to work outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow directions from the foreman while prioritizing safety and teamwork. This is an in-person, temp-to-hire role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform general labor duties on a job site as indicated by the employer.
• Must be able to work outdoors, under timelines, and with a team as well as alone.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions as needed.
• Physical ability: stand 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, squat/reach frequently, good vision and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Dig postholes manually and assist with material handling.
• Operate construction machinery and equipment safely as required.
• Process materials such as cutting pressure treated wood posts or steel chain link posts.
• Work closely with the team foreman and report any injuries promptly.

The laborer's responsibility ranges from digging postholes manually, to using power equipment to process materials such as cutting pressure treated wood post or steel chain link posts.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform general labor duties on a job site as indicated by the employer.
• Must have the ability to work in an outdoor environment, under timelines, and work with a team as well as alone.
• Must have the ability to perform basic math functions as needed.
• Must have the physical ability to:
  • Stand for up to 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Squat down and reach above the shoulder frequently throughout the day
  • Have corrected vision and hearing
• Ability to operate construction machinery and equipment safely.
• Perform all other activities as indicated by the employer based on project need.

Specific Skills

• Valid Driver's License

• Demonstrate the willingness to learn the trade.

• Operate motor vehicle safely and courteously.
