Job summary

Rightfiber Underground Construction is hiring a Seasonal Construction Laborer based in Kearney, NE. You will travel weekly with our crew to build fiber and utility infrastructure, operating trenchers, backhoes, bulldozers, and skid loaders, and performing heavy outdoor labor.

You must have a valid driver's license, pass drug/background tests, and be ready for overnight travel Monday–Friday. Expect active outdoor work in varied Midwest weather along with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen and background screen.
• Ability to travel overnight Monday – Friday.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate trenchers, backhoes, bulldozers, and skid loaders.
• Drive company construction tractors and trucks.
• Perform physical ground labor including digging and trenching.
• Frequently lift and move materials up to 130 lbs.
• Work outdoors in diverse Midwest weather conditions.

Based in Kearney, NE, you will travel weekly with our crew to build out critical fiber and utility infrastructure.

Comp & Perks

• Pay: Up to $22.00 / hour (Based on experience)
• Overtime: Plentiful weekly OT hours available
• Travel 100% Covered: We pay for all overnight lodging
• Daily Food Allowance: Per diem/meals are fully paid
• Weekly Home Time: Travel is Monday through Friday; home on weekends

What You Will Do

• Operate trenchers, backhoes, bulldozers, and skid loaders
• Drive company construction tractors and trucks
• Perform physical ground labor including digging and trenching
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 130 lbs
• Work outdoors in diverse Midwest weather conditions
