Summary of Job Responsibilities

1. Perform general labor functions at construction or industrial sites, supporting project goals in safety, quality, and profitability.
2. Provide labor support in civil construction, including installing fences, site clean-up, flagging/spotting trucks, and operating small hand-held power tools.
3. Receive and organize daily paperwork, install/erect structures safely, and adhere to all safety policies and incident reporting procedures.
4. Participate in Job Safety Analysis and perform daily inspections and maintenance of work areas.
5. Communicate effectively using various means, including hand signals and radio contact.
6. Work independently under supervision, assisting in lifting, positioning, and securing materials, and reporting maintenance issues.

Salary: $22 - $26 hourly BOE

Travel: Based in Honolulu with occasional travel to other mainland project sites as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification
• High School Diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in communication and basic mathematics.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained upon hire).
• Forklift training preferred, can be obtained upon hire.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures.
• Good hearing and sight.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks without fatigue.
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug, and background screens.
