About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer I to join our team! If you enjoy working outdoors, thrive in hands-on roles, and take pride in delivering high-quality results, this position is for you. You will assist with site preparation, landscaping, and general labor on active restoration sites across your region, including wetlands, streambanks, prairies, or stormwater facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with site preparation, planting, seeding, erosion control, and invasive species removal.
2. Operate tools and equipment such as drills, circular saws, chainsaws, and weed eaters.
3. Implement erosion and sediment control measures, including seeding, mulching, and matting.
4. Set up and maintain traffic control and dewatering systems.
5. Participate in safety checks and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
6. Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to travel 2-4 nights per week, with per diem and hotel stay provided.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with landscape or construction tools is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior outdoor labor, landscaping, or construction experience is advantageous.
