Jostin Construction is currently hiring for all three levels (1, 2, & 3) of General Construction Laborers in Cincinnati and Lexington. Please see the preferred knowledge, skills, and qualifications for each level below:

General Construction Laborer 1

This is an entry-level position suitable for those starting their career with Jostin. Requirements include:

• Knowledge of general contracting
• Knowledge of power tools
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices on a construction site

Skills include general cleaning, material handling, proper lifting techniques, light demolition, and maintaining tools and equipment.

General Construction Laborer 2

Must meet all requirements of Level 1, plus:

• Assist carpenters with various tasks
• Participate in weekly toolbox talks
• Heavy demolition experience

General Construction Laborer 3

Must meet all requirements of Level 2, plus:

• Knowledge of hand float tools
• Prepare equipment for use
• Manage labor crews
• Understanding of budget and productivity requirements
• Receive deliveries
• Conduct trainings and mentoring

Qualifications for All Levels

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physically capable of exerting oneself over long periods
• Willing to commute within a 125-mile radius of Cincinnati
• COVID vaccinations may be required on some sites
