Metropolitan Community College is seeking a Regular, on-site Lab Support Assistant for the Construction Technology program at the Fort Omaha Campus. This role assists students, faculty, and vendors and supports lab operations under grant funding through August 31, 2027.

Responsibilities include lab prep, inventory and equipment management, processing work orders and payments, and maintaining shop/classroom areas. A strong organizational approach and dependable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of full-time, work-related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurability to drive college vehicles.
• Must pass background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist faculty with classroom and Shop Lab setup and training processes.
• Maintain and inventory tools, parts, and training equipment; process purchases and records.
• Checkout and monitor tools/equipment; repair or replace as needed.
• Perform daily lab cleanup and safety checks; ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
• Document and maintain records/inventory of tools, parts, equipment, and training aids.
• Ensure timely work orders processing and accurate financial records related to purchases.
