Mortenson Construction is hiring a Laborer Journeyman to assist with material handling, scaffolding setup and site cleanliness. You will support multiple trades and help move and place concrete, mortar, and grout on active construction sites.

Candidates should have a two-year apprenticeship and prefer construction experience; ability to operate tools and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year apprenticeship completed.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Able to operate power and non-powered tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend mortar and grout.
• Move mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• Clean up debris and unload material.
• Place and compact concrete; vibrate where needed.
