Job summary

Wieland Technology leadership is seeking an IT Director to provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all information technology across Wieland's multi-state construction operations. This role is responsible for planning, security, and continuous improvement of technology systems supporting corporate offices, regional offices, and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 10 years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technology teams.
• Experience managing cybersecurity programs and cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with DoD security protocols and federal compliance frameworks including NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and the Joint Certification Program (DD Form 2345).
• Willingness and ability to travel to jobsites approximately 25-40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s IT strategy and digital transformation.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs to secure best-in-class partners.
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity posture, policies, controls, and incident response plans.
• Oversee Construction Technology & End-User Support, including ERP, CM software, and data integration.
• Ensure reliable site connectivity and end-user support across corporate and field locations.
• Drive backup/disaster-recovery planning and testing for business continuity.
