Job summary

Greystar is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in construction. You’ll join the in-house general contractor team, supporting site management, controls, planning, and preconstruction efforts across Greystar's portfolio.

You’ll gain hands-on experience on multimillion-dollar projects and present a final capstone. Program runs June 2, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with compensation at $33/hour and potential bonuses based on performance and role.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
• Ability to track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team with owners, architects, subcontractors and leaders.
• Attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related major.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in management of overall site, subcontractors, and inspection of completed work.
• Handle project controls management, including RFIs, submittals, document management, change management and quality control.
• Participate in project planning meetings and reviews.
• Assist the preconstruction team in performing quantity take offs, developing bid packages, soliciting bids, and preparing estimates.
