Job summary

Walbridge is seeking motivated interns for a summer internship program focused on construction and engineering. Interns will gain hands-on experience on projects, with mentoring designed to launch careers in construction, engineering, and related fields.

Interns may be assigned to Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology, and other areas, with opportunities across national project sites or Walbridge offices in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
