Job summary

Walbridge offers a summer internship program designed to launch your career in construction and engineering. Interns gain hands-on experience and mentoring while working on meaningful assignments in the field or at corporate and regional offices across the U.S.

Participants are assigned to areas such as Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more, with opportunities to travel to various project sites or offices.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedules.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
