Job summary

Milhaus invites you to join our Summer Intern Experience in Indianapolis, supporting the Construction Project Management and Field Supervision teams. The internship focuses on reviewing plans, submittals, RFIs, and documentation using ProCore, with opportunities to assist with meeting notes and vendor communications.

Enrolled in a college program pursuing a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; strong math, technology skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a College or University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Related Field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong Math and Technology Skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Project Drawings and Specification.
• Reviews submittals, RFI responses, Architect's Supplemental Instructions, etc., and distribute to field/subcontractors/vendors.
• Record and distribute meeting notes to involved parties.
• Learn about the Project Management process and its importance.
• Support our Field Staff daily.
• Develop an understanding of a Project's Field Operations.
• Be involved in project operation meetings to understand overall project health.

Milhaus Summer Intern Experience

Spend your summer with us! The Milhaus Summer Internship Experience is an 8-12 week program designed to give future professionals meaningful workplace experience. Position Summary

The Construction Intern assists the Project Management and Field Supervision teams in the management of Milhaus Construction projects. Construction interns will be expected to review plans and specifications and project documentation (including submittals, RFIs, etc.) through use of the Project Management software, ProCore. The intern will assist with meeting notes, submission of RFIs and product submittals as well as communication with project vendors, subcontractors and the design team.
