Responsibilities

• Assist preconstruction by sourcing quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
• Perform data entry in spreadsheets/databases and format material as required.
• Maintain the purchasing vendor database.
• Handle bids, files, and documents.
• Phone polling contractors about bidding and contracts.
• Help qualify chosen subcontractors.
• Assist day-to-day management of project operations and learn all facets of construction.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Interface with staff, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain daily work documentation and project paperwork; submit timely.
• Ensure adherence to the schedule and expediting subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supervise onsite construction activities with the project superintendent/engineer.
• Explore other areas of interest to learn about KPG's operations.
