Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking open minded undergraduate students for a hands‑on internship in construction. You will gain practical experience by assisting project teams through all phases from bidding to final completion, with assignments across office and job sites.

Responsibilities include learning engineering and technical aspects, quantity take‑off, layout, surveys, RFI reviews, document control, and coordination with owners, architects and subcontractors.

• Assist project teams in managing construction projects from bidding to final completion.
• Learn engineering and technical aspects of the project both in the field and in the office.
• Participate in quantity take‑off, layout, surveys, shop drawing review and document control.
• Assist with coordinating work between owner, architect, and subcontractors; attend weekly progress meetings.

Education

Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline, engineering technology or construction management, construction technology
