Job summary

Ascendion, a digital engineering solutions company, seeks a seasoned Construction Supervisor/Manager – Production to lead and coordinate production activities for a data center project. The role emphasizes implementation of efficiency measures and quality control in a demanding fabrication environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a General Contractor background with Telecom Lead experience, and strong leadership skills to supervise crews and manage schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 10+ years experience required.
• General Contractor combined with Telecom Lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

Explain a typical day in the role

An ITIM acts as the conductor of the technical fit-out effort, ensuring the right infrastructure, vendors, materials, approvals, and stakeholders are aligned so a data center can be safely delivered on schedule, within budget, and ready for operations.

Summary

The main function of a construction supervisor/manager - production is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.

Job Responsibilities
