Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager in South Hill, VA, to lead onsite construction execution for data center builds. This role requires delivering safe, schedule‑driven outcomes with strong documentation and knowledge of electrical systems.

You will interpret construction drawings and blueprints, manage commissioning readiness, and ensure adherence to high‑compliance standards across a Fortune‑level project environment. Onsite five days a week in Virginia.

• Strong field documentation discipline in high‑compliance environments.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory and practical application.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Minimum Qualifications

• Provide onsite owner’s-rep construction execution services to drive safe, schedule-aligned delivery and commissioning readiness across data center builds.
• Strong field documentation discipline; comfort operating in high-compliance environments.
• Established understanding of electrical theory and practical application through maintenance and operation of critical electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation, including ability to interpret blueprints, electrical one-lines, and construction drawings.
• Practical experience with Lock-out/Tag-out and verifying MEP systems.

Salary and Other Compensation:
