RNGD is seeking a Staff Attorney to join the Risk Management team in the New Orleans area. You will review, draft, and provide feedback on construction contracts, leases, and insurance-related matters for the self-perform divisions, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer.

The role delivers legal counsel to internal teams, ensures compliance, and advances risk mitigation strategies through contract governance and risk assessment.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of five (5+) years of experience in construction, insurance, or contract law; law firm experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate construction contracts, leases, prime contracts, and subcontracts for self-perform divisions.
• Provide legal counsel to internal teams, assess needs, and determine strategy with guidance from the Chief Legal Officer.
• Review and comment on external counsel documents; prepare liens, delay claims, and related legal documents.
• Support risk management: assess insurance, indemnity, and damages for bid packages; collaborate with Loss Control and IRC committee.
