Job summary

RNGD, based in New Orleans, LA, seeks a Staff Attorney to join the Risk Management team. You will review, draft, and provide feedback on construction contracts, leases, and insurance matters for our self-perform divisions, offering practical legal counsel to internal teams.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will help mitigate risk, establish contracting templates, and support claims resolution with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of five (5+) years of experience in construction/insurance/contract law.
• Proficiency with common hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate construction contracts, leases, and subcontracts.
• Provide legal counsel and risk mitigation guidance to internal teams.
• Review and comment on documents from outside counsel.
• Support risk management, insurance, and claims processes.
• Attend risk meetings and help develop training for teams.
