Techno Consult is seeking a Construction Inspector to support an underground utility and infrastructure project in the Baltimore area. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to impact community infrastructure and work with a growing team of professionals dedicated to public safety and quality.

You will inspect sewer line installations, monitor contractor performance, document daily activities, and coordinate with project teams to ensure progress while maintaining safety and compliance across

Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil infrastructure inspection.
• Experience inspecting underground utilities.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong written communication.
• OSHA safety knowledge.
• MS Office & digital field tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Municipal infra project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sewer line installation and related utility construction activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and verify compliance with plans, specs, and standards.
• Document daily construction activities, site conditions, workforce, equipment, and quantities installed.
• Identify, document, and communicate construction deficiencies or non-conforming work.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to support project progress.
• Review excavation operations, trench safety measures, utility installations, and site restoration activities.
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates regarding construction progress, quality, and safety observations.
