Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a specific discipline to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, including roadway inspection of earthwork, drainage, paving, etc.; structural inspection of foundations, piles, concrete, deck formwork, MSE walls, sign structures, etc.; ADA compliance inspection of curb ramps and sidewalks; traffic signal inspections.
• Supervise inspection teams.
• Approve all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials, documented in daily inspection reports and other required reports.
• Measure and record quantities for payment.
• Prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (not required).
• Preferred certifications include NECEPT or PennDOT concrete.
• NICET Certification levels II-IV are preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
