Job summary

Jacobs in Saranac Lake, NY is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to lead daily scheduling and planning at the project site. You will ensure availability of materials, equipment and manpower to keep projects on track, while safeguarding the health and safety of the team and the environment.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of site/civil inspection experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong knowledge of building systems, project delivery methods, and client relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Construction Inspector or in building construction trades.
• Experience performing inspections of site/civil construction work.
• Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction activities, building systems and components, construction technologies, contract management, project delivery methods, team collaboration, and client relationship management.
• OSHA 30 Certification, or ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
