An established industry player is seeking dedicated professionals for full-time positions within its Public Works Department. Two full-time positions are available with the Public Works Department, Public Inspections Division, located at 4721 E Coal Mine Rd.
Salary Range: $27.25-$40.88/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

REQUIRES: High school graduation and 7 years of experience in engineering drawing, mapping, automated mapping, GIS, CADD, engineering, land survey, or construction inspection, or an acceptable combination of education and experience; OR high school graduation and 5 years of experience in these fields plus possession of a Level II Engineering Technology Certification in any Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical discipline as issued by NICET, or a Land Surveyor in Training license issued by the Missouri Board; OR high school graduation and possession of Level III Certification as 'Engineering Technician (ET)' by NICET or a Registered Land Surveyor's License by Missouri Board. Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam.

Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For positions requiring an accredited degree, professional experience must be obtained after degree completion.
Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Some positions may require a post-offer drug screen and physical. Non-residents must obtain residency within Kansas City, MO, within nine months of employment.
