Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee the boiler building work for a NYCHA development in Brooklyn. With 5+ years of NYC Metro inspection experience, you will ensure quality, safety, QA/QC, and documentation under the supervision of the Assistant Project Manager/Resident Engineer.

You will coordinate with contractors, NYCHA stakeholders, and internal teams to meet project goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across on-site construction activities.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more of experience with at least 2 years of construction inspection experience specifically for NYC Metro Public agencies.
• Experience with construction inspection activities on construction projects for medium to larger sized facilities.
• OSHA 10 Construction Safety Training

Responsibilities

• Inspect overall quality of work, site safety, testing procedures, and adherence to plans and specs.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule, cost, and safety; produce daily inspector reports.
• Coordinate with NYCHA staff, clients, and agencies to resolve issues and maintain project goals.
