Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Construction Inspector with 5+ years of experience to join our NYC Metropolitan Area team. You will oversee on-site inspection for a new boiler building at a NYCHA development in Brooklyn, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with plans and regulations.

You will work under the Assistant Project Manager/Resident Engineer, coordinating with contractors, NYCHA, and multiple stakeholders to meet schedule, budget, and project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction inspection experience, with at least 2 years on NYC Metro public agency projects.
• Experience inspecting municipal/infrastructure/MEP work and QA/QC documentation.
• Knowledge of safety programs, permit conditions, and project coordination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection for overall quality, safety, testing procedures, and daily reports.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule, cost, and quality to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with NYCHA, contractors, and internal Arcadis staff to resolve project issues.
