Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. seeks a Construction Inspector to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ or nearby, performing construction observation for municipal water, sewer and roadway projects.

Ideal candidates will have 5–15 years of experience in construction management, pursue NICET certifications, and hold ACI field testing knowledge; strong communication and writing skills are required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pursuit of NICET certifications is mandatory.
• ACI-Concrete Field Testing knowledge is expected.
• Effective communication, management and writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract administration with design professionals and contractors.
• Provide onsite supervision for the Client's projects and ensure smooth operation.
• Chair pre-construction and biweekly progress meetings; distribute minutes.
• Maintain project records and coordinate inspections with code authorities.
• Document RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals, and shop drawings with proper responses.
• Review payment applications with contractors and advise on progress payments.
• Ensure safe construction operations and protect occupants during work.
• Assist in project closeout and turnover to the client.
