The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction inspection experience, strong drawing interpretation, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction inspection or observation experience, preferably on land development or municipal projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication with careful documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with field reporting or construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for land development and municipal projects, including site grading and roadwork.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with plans, specs, permits, and standards.
• Prepare detailed daily inspection reports with site conditions, quantities and progress.
• Track installed quantities to support payments and documentation.
• Capture and maintain photographic documentation of progress and field conditions.
• Serve as field liaison between contractors, municipal clients, utilities, and design teams.
