Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Construction Inspector III to provide daily inspection of complex activities on multiple projects. You will monitor compliance with plans, specs, and contract provisions and maintain daily logs of activities, materials, and equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of construction experience, and state certifications. Travel to multiple WV locations may be involved in this full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 6 years of construction-related experience.
• Must possess all required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
• Proven ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work in progress to ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and contract documents.
• Maintain daily inspection logs and discuss discrepancies with Field Engineer.
• Perform on-site material testing and prepare as-constructed sketches as required.
• Carry out non-routine and moderately complex assignments on multiple projects.
