Job summary

Terracon in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking Construction Inspectors/Engineering Technicians to perform construction inspection, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to codes, drawings, and specs across multiple disciplines. You will prepare inspection reports, document observations and testing, and communicate findings to engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred in Civil or Construction tech.
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as an engineering technician or related role.
• 1 year of construction inspection experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I certification.
• WAQTC certification and other required safety certifications.
• Multiple preferred certifications listed by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection per procedures.
• Analyzes data for accuracy before reporting to the Project Manager.
• Participates in multiple field testing/inspection areas; may train others.
• May lead activities of other technicians on larger projects.
• Ensure timely on-site attendance and clear daily documentation.
• Communicate findings with project team and maintain safety standards.
