Job summary

Qualifications

• Participation in DOTD training programs and continuing education is expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work for compliance with departmental policies, standards, specifications, and project plans.
• Prepare and process field diaries, reports, and estimates.
• Enter, review, and maintain construction project data in DOTD systems (e.g., MATT, Site Manager, Content Manager).
• Apply DOTD policies and procedures at the project site and in the office.
• Serve as the primary construction inspector in assigned areas of specialization or certification.
• Determine material sampling requirements and verify materials, haul quantities, and elevations.
• Complete required training and support efficient project operations.
