As a part of our Transportation Team, the Inspector will oversee construction projects to ensure conformance with all applicable plans and specifications.
We are currently seeking a talented and qualified Structure Inspector responsible for inspecting contractor methods and workmanship to ensure adherence to quality standards related to building bridges and highway structures in accordance with plans and specifications. Work will primarily involve NCDOT bridge inspection projects focused on the I-95 Corridor, but assignments may occur throughout North Carolina. Preference will be given to candidates with structural or bridge inspection experience and active NCDOT certifications.
The approximate compensation range for this position is $25.80/hr to $42.50/hr. This range is an estimate at the time of posting; actual compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.

The Inspector will assist upper-level Inspectors and Engineers with construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling and testing, erosion control, and traffic control. The role involves performing standardized and non-standardized tests, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
