Job summary

Anchor QEA is seeking a Construction Inspector to support civil and environmental projects in the Pacific Northwest. The role involves documenting work, contract administration, schedule analysis, and cost estimation, with both field and office duties and travel to project sites.

Ideal candidates have engineering or construction inspection experience, a BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology, 2+ years of experience, and strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in engineering or construction.
• BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Proficiency with project scheduling and evaluating schedules and schedule updates.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and methods conform to standards and requirements.
• Support construction oversight, inspections, and monitoring activities.
• Track submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Assist in preparing change orders, cost estimates, and schedule impacts.
• Work with construction management team to support project needs.
• Manage document control procedures for projects.
• Track compliance with project permits.
• Perform field inspection and oversight of projects.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
