Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is seeking a Construction Manager Technician to support inspection of construction materials and workmanship, maintain project records, and ensure compliance with standards. The role emphasizes independent work, documentation accuracy, and adherence to construction operation manuals.

Candidates must have a HS diploma, NICET Level 3, and a valid driver’s license. The position involves fieldwork, long hours, and occasional travel, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
NICET Level 3 in Civil Engineering Technology related program.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Inspect workmanship, materials and work in process on construction projects to ensure conformity to standards.
Maintain Construction Documentation System and project records.
Assist in monitoring compliance with laws, COM policies and best practices.
Support final cost determination with documentation of work performed.
Instruct and advise staff and contractors in construction documentation and field techniques.
