WSP Global Inc. in Utah seeks a Full-Time Construction Inspector (UDOT CTP Level II) to support projects across Utah. You will read and interpret project plans, monitor construction for compliance with documents, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with policies.

Join our Construction Management Team and help ensure road and bridge work meets UDOT standards. Valid Utah driver's license and UDOT certifications are required; relocation assistance is not offered.

Formación

• High School Diploma and 5+ years construction experience.
• UDOT Masterworks Trained.
• UDOT CTP Level II certification.
• ACI Level I or II Concrete Certification.
• Experience on UDOT projects.
• Valid Utah driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents.
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily work reports; prepare and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control based on construction plans and specifications; using Masterworks, spreadsheets, and other electronic or manual means
• Inspect road and bridge construction (based on UDOT Standards).
• Experience with UDOT documentation.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Your Impact

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures
• Prepare daily work reports; prepare and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control based on construction plans and specifications; using Masterworks, spreadsheets, and other electronic or manual means
• Inspect road and bridge construction (based on UDOT Standards)
• Experience with UDOT documentation

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
• UDOT Masterworks Trained
• UDOT CTP Level II
• ACI Level I or Level II Concrete Certification
• Experience on UDOT projects
• Valid Utah driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bituminous Paving Experience
• Concrete Paving Experience
• Direct experience working for UDOT or another firm with UDOT exposure
• ATTSA Traffic Control Certification, Sampling Reduction & Density (SRDTT), Moisture/Density Gauge Certification, ACI or CTT Concrete Certification or the ability to become certificated within 2 months of hire
