We are offering exciting career opportunities for Construction Inspectors (NICET Level II thru IV). H&H currently has multiple inspection projects for movable and fixed bridges in Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and special requirements.
• Apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles to field measurements, calculate quantities of work completed, and recommend payments to contractors.
• Prepare clear and concise Daily Inspection Reports documenting work performed, manpower, materials, equipment used, and other pertinent information.
• Operate and maintain field inspection equipment.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of bridge/highway construction experience.
• Knowledge of bridge and highway construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications.
• Certifications: NICET, ACI, SAT, and Traffic Control.
• 10-hour OSHA safety training certification.
• Experience with NJDOT and NJTA projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
