Job summary

H&H is seeking Construction Inspectors with NICET II–IV to support bridge and highway projects across Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. The role requires reading plans, calculating quantities, and preparing daily inspection reports on site.

Strong communication skills and OSHA training are essential. Five years of bridge/highway experience and knowledge of construction methods are expected; NICET/ACI/SAT and Traffic Control certifications are preferred, with NJDOT/NJTA experience a

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and any special requirements
• Working knowledge of mathematics with the ability to apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles to field measure quantities and calculate quantities of completed work to recommend payment to the contractor for items of work
• Ability to prepare clear and concise Daily Inspection Reports to document the work performed, the manpower, material, and equipment used; field measure and calculate quantities of work completed and other pertinent information
• Operational knowledge of field inspection equipment
• Good oral and written communication skills
