Job summary

H&H is seeking Construction Inspectors with NICET II–IV to support bridge and highway projects across Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. The role requires reading plans, calculating quantities, and preparing daily inspection reports on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of bridge/highway experience.
• Knowledge of bridge and highway construction methods, materials, standards, and specs.
• NICET, ACI, SAT and Traffic Control certifications (preferred).
• 10-hour OSHA safety training certification.
• NJDOT and NJTA experience (preferred).
• Good writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, specs, and requirements.
• Apply math and engineering principles to measure quantities and estimate payments.
• Prepare daily inspection reports documenting work, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Operate field inspection equipment.
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
