About the role
Techno is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Inspector for the Frederick Douglass Tunnel Program is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections to ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. This role involves verifying the proper installation and functionality of mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems. The inspector monitors construction activities to uphold quality standards, interprets technical drawings and specifications, and performs material and equipment testing. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate records, and communicating findings and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders. In addition, the inspector collaborates with project teams to resolve issues, offers technical support, and participates in meetings to provide input on construction methods, materials, and schedules, ensuring timely and compliant project delivery.
