Job summary

Mountain Ltd. seeks a Construction Inspector in Keizer, OR to ensure underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and corrections by contractors. The Inspector will document inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and communicate via email and cellular phone.

Familiarity with mapping and GPS technology is preferred. Travel on short notice may be required, and the role offers the opportunity to contribute to a legacy of engineering

Qualifications

• Experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew.
• Experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiar with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel and Outlook.
• Comfortable with internet usage and web browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel on short notice.

Job Description

The ConstructionInspector will be responsible to ensure that all the client’s underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. The Inspector will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone. At times it may be necessary to perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually by the use of printed spreadsheets. Familiarity in using mapping/GPS technology.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
