Job summary

TPD is seeking Construction Inspectors at multiple levels in the United States. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of experience, NICET or civil engineering credentials, and strong communication skills.

The role involves on-site inspection across roadway, structural, and ADA-related work while collaborating with project teams. We value a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

• EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Document all on-site observations on Daily Inspection Reports and other required reports.
• Measure and record quantities for payment and prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site project representative.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications. Such as Roadway Inspection of earthwork, drainage, paving, etc.; Structural inspection of foundations, piles, concrete, deck formwork, MSE walls, sign structures, etc.; ADA Compliance Inspection of curb ramps and sidewalks, etc.; Traffic Signal Inspections.
• Document all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required.
• Measure and record quantities for payment
• Prepare as-built drawings
• Serving as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

• At least one or more of the following certifications are preferred: ACI, NJSAT, TCC or CCTC.
• NICET Certification: I-IV is preferred.
• EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required)
• Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver’s License
