Qualifications

• Two-year technical or associate’s degree in construction technology or construction management is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• OSHA Certifications 10/30 preferred.
• ACI - Field Technician Certification preferred.
• New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technicians - Field Testing preferred.
• NJDOT - Traffic Control Coordinator preferred.
• Work Zone Safety preferred.
• Confined Space Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design-to-construction phase activities and assume project responsibility from preconstruction through close-out.
• Plan construction phases, assign staff, and coordinate with departments to balance scheduling and hiring.
• Oversee quality control of payment certifications.
• Lead daily communication across inspection teams and with design teams/clients.
• Identify and administer field changes for unforeseen conditions and negotiate costs/schedule.
• Develop staff through training and certifications.
• Enforce company policies.
• Supervise a construction inspection team and manage multiple projects.
