Job summary

Larson Maddox is seeking an Associate Counsel to support a prominent infrastructure and construction organization in Lisle, IL. The role focuses on construction and commercial contracting, claims management, and strategic risk oversight for major projects.

You will partner with project teams and leadership to advise on legal, regulatory, and operational matters, with a JD or LL.M and active Illinois Bar required and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• JD or LL.M and active Illinois Bar required.
• 5+ years of legal experience with construction contracts and claims management.
• Experience in public contracting and infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal, operational, and regulatory matters for major infrastructure projects.
• Draft and negotiate construction and commercial contracts; manage disputes or mediations/arbitrations.
• Collaborate with project teams and senior leadership to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
