Job summary

A leading construction firm in New York is seeking an experienced Associate Counsel to handle contracts, supervise disputes, and advise executives on legal and operational matters. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor or LL.M degree, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and fluency in various legal software. Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience with a background in public contracting strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience directly advising clients on complex matters.

  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of construction and commercial contracts.
  • Develop strategies for resolving disputes and claims.
  • Represent in mediations and attend arbitrations as client representative.
  • Advise senior-level executives on legal and compliance matters.
