Job summary

The Walsh Group—Grand Forks, ND seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs on our project site. You will collaborate with project leadership to implement site-specific EHS plans, coordinate subcontractor safety protocols, and manage audits and incident reporting to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, at least 5 years in construction EHS, and strong communication and organizational skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent CHST certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS.
• Excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan in coordination with Project Manager and leadership.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols with vendors and owner personnel.
• Coordinate project EHS programs with subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate work to eliminate hazards and minimize risks.
• Coordinate quarterly on-site EHS audits.
• Inspect project site, equipment and processes for regulatory compliance.
