Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an HSE Manager for a New Mexico project. You will develop and implement site-specific EHS plans, coordinate subcontractor safety, and drive regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting accident investigations, environmental monitoring, and weekly EHS reporting to leadership. Travel may be required as part of the role, with a focus on maintaining a safe and compliant site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS
• Knowledge of regulations and standards at local, state and federal level
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan with project management.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits; plan to minimize risks and losses.
• Conduct quarterly on-site EHS audits and regulatory compliance checks.
• Perform accident investigations and incident reporting for PM review.
• Advise on Industrial Hygiene protocols; perform environmental monitoring.
• Manage Drug-Free Workplace policy and EHS training for personnel.
• Provide weekly EHS updates to leadership.
