Job summary

Place Services Inc. (PSI) is seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to support business development and growth initiatives.

This role will work with Business Development and operational leadership to strengthen client relationships, identify opportunities, develop proposals and marketing materials, and increase PSI's visibility in targeted markets. The ideal candidate combines marketing, communication skills with a business development mindset to generate new clients and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing/Business/Communications.
• Minimum of 3 years in marketing, business development support, sales support, or proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating presentations, proposals, and client-facing marketing collateral.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms and sales pipelines preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and digital marketing tools preferred.
• Commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or professional services experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify and pursue new clients and opportunities.
• Research clients, markets, competitors and industry trends.
• Create client presentations, capability statements, and sales materials.
• Assist with client outreach and relationship development.
• Track opportunities and support the sales pipeline.
• Coordinate and develop responses to RFPs/RFQs and proposals.
• Collaborate with ops, estimating, safety, and other dept. for proposal inputs.
• Maintain project profiles, qualifications, resumes, and references.
• Improve proposal quality and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate client, prospect, and opportunity data.
• Develop reporting and dashboards to track activity and growth.
• Establish CRM processes to improve sales and marketing effectiveness.
• Research target companies and decision-makers for expansion.
• Identify events and networking opportunities.
• Monitor market activity for growth sectors and regions.
• Develop targeted prospect lists and strategic plans.
• Develop marketing campaigns and materials for client acquisition.
• Maintain website with capabilities, completed projects, and client messaging.
• Create project spotlights, case studies, and presentations.
• Ensure consistent branding across client-facing materials.
• Develop content highlighting company capabilities and successes.
• Manage social media initiatives to strengthen reputation.
• Coordinate media (photo/video) for BD and marketing.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Estimating, and leadership.
• Coordinate with external vendors for marketing and events.
